Summary
Seeking an experienced GS-14 leader to manage complex projects, develop strategic programs, and drive organizational efficiency.
Join U.S. Customs and Border Protection as a GS-14 professional, leading critical programs and driving strategic initiatives.
- *Responsibilities:**
- Lead and manage large, complex, high-visibility projects, often crossing organizational lines.
- Develop and implement strategic plans and directives for program development.
- Provide expert and authoritative advice on program issues to senior officials.
- Plan, organize, coordinate, control, and evaluate organizational activities.
- Define and implement process improvements to enhance service delivery, reduce costs, increase quality, and decrease cycle times.
- *Requirements:**
- **Experience:** Minimum one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level, performing duties as listed above.
- **Federal Employees:** Must meet Time in Grade requirements (52 weeks at the GS-13 level or equivalent) by 09/18/2025.
- **Background Investigation:** Successful completion of a thorough background investigation by CBP is required.
- **Residency:** Must have physically resided in the U.S. or its protectorates for at least three of the last five years. Exceptions apply for U.S. Government service, dependents, study abroad, or U.S. government support roles.
- **Probationary Period:** New federal employees will serve a one-year probationary period. Current/former federal employees may also be required to serve or complete a probationary period.
