## GS-15 Senior Facilities & Infrastructure Manager
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is seeking a highly experienced leader to manage complex facilities and infrastructure portfolios, lead high-level negotiations, and direct major engineering projects. This role requires significant engagement with governmental bodies.
### Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee large, multi-million dollar facilities and infrastructure portfolios, ensuring effective planning, delivery, operation, and sustainment.
- Lead high-level negotiations with government agencies, officials, or foreign governments.
- Direct sub-organizations on complex engineering, construction, architectural projects, and building operations.
- Participate in Congressional engagements, dealings with the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), the White House, and other high-visibility advocacy efforts.
- **Experience:** 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level, performing duties as outlined above.
- **Citizenship:** U.S. Citizenship is required.
- **Background Investigation:** Must successfully pass a thorough background investigation by CBP.
- **Residency:** Physically resided in the U.S. or its protectorates for at least three of the last five years (exceptions may apply for U.S. government service abroad).
- **Time in Grade:** (For current federal employees) Served 52 weeks at the next lower grade or equivalent.
- **Probationary Period:** New federal employees serve a 1-year probationary period; an 18-month supervisory probationary period may also apply.
- **Leadership Training:** Newly appointed GS-15s must complete mandatory leadership training within 90 days.
