Program Manager

This GS-14 position requires an experienced leader to manage large-scale federal projects, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive program improvements within a dynamic federal law enforcement environment.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Lead and manage large, cross-organizational projects, including developing integrated plans, budgets, and executive-ready status reports.
• Interpret mission-related laws, policies, and regulations, ensuring compliance and accuracy in sensitive program matters.
• Formulate program goals, plans, and performance metrics, evaluating outcomes to recommend and implement strategic improvements.
• Facilitate collaboration, negotiate priorities, resolve conflicts, and align diverse stakeholders to achieve common objectives.
• Develop high-level briefings and visual materials to effectively communicate program status and strategic direction to executive leadership.
• *Qualifications:**
• **Experience:** One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level, demonstrating proficiency in the responsibilities listed above. (This includes paid and qualifying volunteer experience).
• **Federal Employees:** Must meet Time in Grade requirements (52 weeks at GS-13 or equivalent).
• *Essential Requirements:**
• **Background Investigation:** Successful completion of a thorough background investigation is mandatory due to the federal law enforcement nature of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
• **Residency:** Must have physically resided in the U.S. or its protectorates for at least three of the last five years. (Exceptions may apply for U.S. government service abroad).
• **Probationary Period:** New federal employees will serve a one-year probationary period.
• **Political Appointee Disclosure:** Required for current or former political appointees within the last 5 years.
