Program Manager

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) seeks a highly experienced professional to serve as a technical authority in budget formulation and program execution. This GS-14 role involves resolving complex issues and developing critical guidelines within a dynamic federal environment.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Identify and resolve complex uncertainties, unique situations, and conflicting objectives during program execution.
• Serve as the technical authority for directorate budget formulation.
• Coordinate and integrate budgetary efforts across program managers, subject matter experts, and field personnel.
• Develop new or interpret existing program guidelines.
• *Requirements:**
• **Experience:** One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level, demonstrating expertise in budget formulation and program problem-solving. (Resume must explicitly detail this experience.)
• **Federal Employees:** Must meet Time-in-Grade requirements (52 weeks at GS-13 or equivalent) by November 7, 2025.
• **Background Investigation:** Successful completion of a thorough background investigation required for this federal law enforcement agency.
• **Residency:** Physically resided in the U.S. or its protectorates for at least three of the last five years. (Waiver conditions apply for specific circumstances.)
• **Probationary Period:** A one-year probationary period may be required.
