Job Description

Summary

Strategic program manager sought to analyze organizational progress, develop policy, and manage federal programs (GS-14).

This role requires a seasoned professional to manage and evaluate federal programs, ensuring strategic objectives are met and policies are effectively implemented.

  • *Core Responsibilities:**
  • Analyze organizational progress and ensure realistic objectives and milestones are achieved.
  • Develop, revise, and implement critical decisions, guidance, laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Manage and evaluate the effectiveness of department programs, planning long- and short-range strategies.
  • Formulate mid-level transition policies to move programs from pilot to full operational status.
  • *Key Requirements:**
  • **Experience:** One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 federal grade level, performing duties similar to those listed above. Your resume must clearly detail this experience.
  • **Federal Eligibility:**
* Meet all qualification and Time in Grade requirements (for current federal employees). * Successfully pass a thorough background investigation. * **Residency:** Physically resided in the U.S. or its protectorates for at least three of the last five years. Exceptions may apply for U.S. government service. * **Probationary Period:** New federal employees will serve a one-year probationary period.

This position values both paid and unpaid qualifying experience, including volunteer work.
