Are you a skilled Project Manager seeking to lead impactful facility construction projects? We are looking for an experienced professional to manage complex construction initiatives from start to finish, ensuring successful delivery within established parameters.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Manage complex facility construction projects, overseeing all phases from procurement and design through to construction.
- Ensure strict adherence to project budgets, schedules, and overarching organizational goals.
- Drive project goal implementation by effectively collaborating with general contractors and internal teams, proactively resolving emergent issues.
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, defining scope, schedule, budget, risks, and communication strategies in partnership with senior leadership.
- Utilize advanced quantitative and qualitative methods (e.g., risk assessments, financial analysis) to evaluate project success and report findings to stakeholders.
- Identify and resolve unique project challenges, innovating solutions in the absence of established policy, and recommend process improvements to enhance service delivery, reduce costs, and improve quality.
- *Qualifications & Requirements:**
- **Experience:** A minimum of one year of specialized experience (equivalent to the GS-13 federal grade level) managing complex facility construction projects, encompassing the responsibilities outlined above.
- **Residency:** Must meet U.S. residency requirements, generally requiring physical residence in the U.S. or its protectorates for at least three of the last five years.
- **Background Check:** Ability to successfully pass a thorough background investigation.
- **Probationary Period:** New federal employees will serve a one-year probationary period.
