## Join Our Team: GS-14 Specialist
We are seeking a highly experienced professional to contribute to strategic planning, data management, and policy analysis within a federal law enforcement agency.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Advise on and implement strategic planning methodologies and procedures for a directorate.
- Develop and standardize effective data handling processes for administrative and program functions.
- Organize and coordinate management efforts, including briefings, presentations, and conferences.
- Analyze the applicability and impact of new policies, directives, and departmental requirements.
- *Required Qualifications:**
- **Experience:** One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level, performing duties similar to those outlined above. Your resume must clearly demonstrate this experience. Volunteer experience that builds relevant competencies will be credited.
- **Background Investigation:** Successful completion of a thorough background investigation is mandatory. This includes inquiries into criminal history and the use of illegal drugs or non-prescribed controlled substances.
- **Residency:** For applicants not currently employed by CBP, you must have physically resided in the U.S. or its protectorates for at least three of the last five years. Exceptions may apply for specific U.S. Government-related work or study abroad.
- **Probationary Period:** All employees new to the federal government will serve a one-year probationary period.
