Summary
Manage international Security Cooperation initiatives, including Foreign Military Sales (FMS), requiring expertise in relevant policies and tools.
We are seeking a specialist to manage and coordinate international security cooperation initiatives. This role involves extensive engagement with foreign and domestic officials, overseeing complex weapons transfer programs.
- *Responsibilities:**
- Coordinate and present positions on security cooperation initiatives to foreign officials, U.S. government entities, and private industry.
- Manage and prioritize multiple issues and tasks related to security assistance programs.
- Oversee the development, implementation, execution, and closure of Letters of Offer and Acceptance (LOA).
- *Requirements:**
- Minimum one year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-02 grade level in federal service or similar private/public sector experience.
- Expert knowledge of laws and policies pertaining to sales, leases, grants, and weapons transfer initiatives under the Security Cooperation program.
- Familiarity with relevant U.S. government agencies and commands, including DOS, OSW, Navy, Marine Corps, and Combatant Commands.
- Proficiency with Security Assistance and Cooperation tools and resources (e.g., DSAMS, SCIP).
- Experience includes paid, unpaid, and volunteer work demonstrating relevant competencies.
