Job Description
Summary
Shape national security policy by coordinating DoD strategic guidance, advising on Nuclear/Arctic issues, and drafting Navy policy communications.
Join our team to contribute to national security policy within the Department of the Navy. This role focuses on the development, execution, and communication of critical defense policies.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Coordinate the development and implementation of policies and plans aligned with Department of Defense (DoD) strategic guidance.
- Provide expert advice and counsel on planning, programming, and policy, specifically regarding Nuclear and Arctic strategies.
- Draft official policy memoranda and correspondence on National Security policies impacting the Department of the Navy.
- *Qualifications:**
- **GS-14 Level:** At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service or comparable private/public sector experience.
- **GS-13 Level:** At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service or comparable private/public sector experience.
