Summary
Seeking a GS-14 Management Analyst to provide expert acquisition planning, financial analysis, and policy guidance for CBP programs.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection is seeking a qualified professional to provide expert financial and acquisition management analysis. This role involves critical support for major acquisition programs, ensuring compliance and strategic planning.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Consult with program managers to develop outyear acquisition planning documentation.
- Analyze and evaluate financial management laws, policies, guidelines, and regulations.
- Apply advanced management analysis principles to complex issues.
- Provide expert technical guidance on controversial and intricate acquisition program concerns.
- Review policies related to finance, trend analyses, and acquisition program forecasting.
- *Required Qualifications:**
- **Experience:** One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level. This experience must include:
- Must meet all qualification and Time in Grade requirements by 12/11/2025.
- *Additional Requirements:**
- **Background Investigation:** Successful completion of a thorough background investigation is mandatory for employment with CBP.
- **Residency:** Must have physically resided in the U.S. or its protectorates for at least three of the last five years. Exceptions may apply for U.S. Government employees/dependents, study abroad, or U.S. Government contractors/volunteers.
- **Probationary Period:** A one-year probationary period is required for new federal employees.
- **Federal Employees:** Disclosure required for current/former political appointees. CTAP eligibility criteria apply, with a minimum score of 85.
