AWS Global Services helps customers design, build, operate, and secure their cloud environments. We are seeking a highly motivated Premium Support Business Development Manager to drive the adoption of AWS paid support offerings within large multinational organizations. This role is critical to accelerating IT transformation and cloud adoption by ensuring customers leverage AWS support services effectively.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Engage customers, partners, and field teams to understand needs and pain points regarding Enterprise Support Services (Enterprise Support, Enterprise On-Ramp, Migration Services, new products).
- Analyze drivers of Enterprise Support Services adoption and identify improvement levers.
- Design and execute controlled experiments to boost adoption.
- Review pricing/costing to ensure customer value.
- Quantify the impact and ROI of Support Services on overall AWS platform adoption.
- Develop compelling sales collateral, reference cases, and value propositions.
- Drive commercial innovation, including differentiated support offerings per customer segment.
- Create and deliver training programs for sales teams on the Support value proposition.
- Collaborate with Commercial/Public Sales, Premium Support, and Enterprise stakeholders.
- Prepare and present business reviews to senior management.
- Lead Enterprise Support Services deals from inception to close with the sales team.
- *Basic Qualifications:**
- 6+ years of experience in sales, business development, or commercial roles, including developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements.
- Proven experience in negotiation and closing deals.
- Track record of achieving commercial objectives.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at an organizational level.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both in technical and business settings.
- *Preferred Qualifications:**
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations.
- Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements.
