Summary
Seeking an Operations Research Analyst to conduct investigations, model phenomena, and derive insights from complex data.
We are seeking skilled Operations Research Analysts to conduct investigations, develop models, and derive insights from complex or incomplete data. This role requires strong analytical abilities and effective communication skills.
- *Key Qualifications:**
- *Basic Educational Requirements:**
- A degree in Operations Research; or
- At least 24 semester hours in a combination of Operations Research, Mathematics, Probability, Statistics, Mathematical Logic, Science, or related courses requiring substantial college-level mathematics or statistics competence.
- Minimum 3 of these 24 semester hours must be in Calculus.
- *Experience & Education for Specific Grade Levels:**
- *GS-12 Level:**
- PhD (or equivalent doctoral degree) and basic educational requirements.
- One year of specialized experience (equivalent to GS-11) demonstrating:
- *GS-11 Level:**
- Master's degree (or equivalent graduate degree) and basic educational requirements.
- One year of specialized experience (equivalent to GS-9) demonstrating:
- *GS-10 Level:**
- Master's degree (or equivalent graduate degree); or
- Two years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree.
