Seeking an Operations Research Analyst for CBP to lead complex cost estimating and analysis, supporting critical acquisition decisions.

- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead the application of cost estimating and analysis best practices and innovative methodologies.
- Resolve unique and complex cost estimating challenges, significantly impacting standard practices.
- Provide expert cost analysis to support critical acquisition decisions for program offices.
- Develop and execute significant cost estimates that inform and enhance the organizational mission.
- Generate innovative recommendations to advance programs, processes, and estimating methods.
- *Required Qualifications:**
- **Education:**
- **Experience:** One year of specialized experience (equivalent to GS-13 federal service) performing duties such as:
- *Additional Requirements:**
- Ability to pass a thorough background investigation required by a federal law enforcement agency.
- Residency: Must have physically resided in the U.S. or its protectorates for at least three of the last five years (exceptions for U.S. government service or sponsored study may apply).
- New federal employees will serve a one-year probationary period.
