Job Description
Summary
Seeking a skilled Analyst to investigate misconduct, analyze data, and produce intelligence reports for a federal government role.
Join our team as an Investigative Analyst, utilizing advanced analytical skills to support critical government functions. We are seeking professionals at the GS-11 and GS-12 levels to contribute to investigations and intelligence development.
- *Responsibilities:**
- *GS-11 Level:**
- Utilize various computer programs, databases, and sophisticated analytical software (including graphics and automated applications) to document potential integrity breaches or criminal activity.
- Sort, categorize, evaluate, and author coherent, concise, and accurate reports based on misconduct allegations.
- *GS-12 Level (in addition to GS-11 duties):**
- Research and analyze diverse data and information sources to develop intelligence and investigative reports.
- Access, utilize, interpret, and analyze law enforcement, government, and open-source data systems via encrypted, classified, or Internet processes.
- *Qualifications:**
- *For GS-11:**
- **Experience:** One (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-09 level (or equivalent) performing duties similar to those listed above.
- **Education:** A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or three (3) full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree, or an LL.M. (if related) from an accredited institution. Education must demonstrate relevant knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- **Combination:** A combination of qualifying graduate education and specialized experience that collectively meets 100% of the requirements. Only graduate education beyond the second year may be used for the combination.
- *For GS-12:**
- **Experience:** One (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-11 level (or equivalent) performing duties similar to those listed above.
- *General Requirements:**
- All experience, including paid and unpaid National Service experience (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps, volunteer work), will be credited towards qualifications.
- Qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of the announcement.
