This GS-13 level position seeks an analytical professional focused on complex problem-solving and strategic development within a federal agency.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop data and methods for analytical problem resolution.
- Deliver briefings to managers, including prepared studies and staff reports.
- Collect, review, process, and evaluate information using creative methodologies to resolve complex issues.
- Evaluate, discuss, and validate reports and plans.
- Develop and implement innovative concepts and solutions to address challenges.
- *Qualifications & Requirements:**
- **Experience:** One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level, performing duties outlined above. (Volunteer experience is accepted).
- **Federal Compliance:** Must meet all qualification requirements, including applicable Time in Grade for current federal employees.
- **Background Check:** Successful completion of a thorough background investigation is required by this federal law enforcement agency (CBP), including inquiries into criminal history and drug use.
- **Residency:** For applicants not currently employed by CBP, must have physically resided in the U.S. or its protectorates for at least three of the last five years. Exceptions apply for U.S. government service or sponsored study abroad.
- **Probationary Period:** New federal employees will serve a one-year probationary period.
