Job Description

Summary

Seeking an analytical professional to evaluate reports, resolve complex issues, and brief management for a federal agency.

This GS-13 level position requires 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level, performing duties such as:

  • Evaluating and validating reports and plans.
  • Providing guidance and interacting with field personnel in complex situations.
  • Collecting, reviewing, and evaluating information to resolve intricate issues.
  • Developing data and methods for analytical problem-solving.
  • Delivering professional briefings, studies, and staff reports to management.
  • *Additional Requirements:**
  • **Experience:** Relevant volunteer experience is credited towards the specialized experience requirement.
  • **Residency:** Must have physically resided in the U.S. or its protectorates for at least 3 of the last 5 years (exceptions apply for U.S. government/military service, study abroad, or contractor support).
  • **Background Investigation:** Successful completion of a thorough background investigation is mandatory for this federal law enforcement agency role.
  • **Probationary Period:** A one-year probationary period is required for all new federal government employees.
