Summary
Seeking an advisor to provide technical support, develop reports, manage payroll, and track budgets within a federal agency.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is seeking a qualified professional to provide essential advisory, technical, and analytical support within a federal law enforcement agency.
- *Responsibilities:**
- Provide comprehensive advisory and technical services on organizational functions and work practices.
- Develop and deliver major studies, briefings, project papers, and official correspondence.
- Assist senior staff with managing and administering premium pay, overtime, and leave entitlements.
- Perform budgetary tracking and assessments for management.
- *Qualifications:**
- **Experience:** Minimum one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 federal grade level. This experience must include:
- **Federal Employees:** Must meet Time-in-Grade requirements (52 weeks at the GS-12 equivalent) by 09/09/2025.
- **Background Investigation:** Successful completion of a comprehensive background investigation is required, including checks for felony convictions and illegal drug use.
- **Residency:** Must have physically resided in the United States or its protectorates for at least three of the last five years. Exceptions may apply for those with U.S. government affiliation or sponsored study abroad.
- **Probationary Period:** New federal employees will serve a one-year probationary period.
