Job Description

Summary

Seeking an experienced professional to analyze and improve federal administrative programs, manage budgets, and advise leadership.

This federal position requires an analytical and experienced professional to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of administrative programs.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Apply analytical methods to improve administrative programs, including budget, procurement, and personnel.
  • Analyze program findings, identify issues, and recommend solutions or operational improvements.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and provide expert advice to management on administrative matters.
  • Project and plan future expenses to support annual budget requirements.
  • *Required Qualifications:**
  • Equivalent to the GS-13 grade level.
  • Minimum one year of specialized experience at the GS-12 level (or equivalent), demonstrating expertise in administrative program analysis, problem-solving, reporting, and budget forecasting.
  • Must meet all qualification requirements, including federal Time in Grade (52 weeks at GS-12 equivalent by 08/26/2025 for current federal employees).
  • U.S. residency requirement: Must have physically resided in the U.S. or its protectorates for at least 3 of the last 5 years (exceptions for U.S. government service abroad).
  • Successful completion of a standard federal background investigation.
  • New federal employees will complete a one-year probationary period.
  • Volunteer experience is credited towards qualifications.
