Summary
Lead program analysis, develop strategic plans, and prepare senior-level recommendations for U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection is seeking an experienced professional for a GS-12 level role focused on program analysis and strategic support.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop detailed plans, goals, and objectives for program implementation.
- Design and implement criteria for evaluating current and proposed processes and administrative programs.
- Lead special studies and analytical projects to inform policy and procedural changes.
- Prepare clear, concise briefing packages and actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
- Participate in group studies to facilitate and coordinate office projects and policy development.
- *Required Qualifications:**
- **Experience:** One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level, demonstrating expertise in program analysis, planning, and evaluation.
- **Federal Employees:** Must have served 52 weeks at the GS-11 grade level (or equivalent) by November 14, 2025.
- **Background Check:** Ability to successfully complete a thorough background investigation required by a federal law enforcement agency.
- **Residency:** Physically resided in the U.S. or its protectorates for at least three of the last five years (exceptions available for U.S. government service).
- **Probationary Period:** New federal employees will serve a one-year probationary period.
- **Resume:** Your resume must explicitly detail how you meet all experience requirements.
