Mission Support Specialist

U.S. Customs and Border Protection is seeking an experienced professional for a GS-12 level role focused on program analysis and strategic support.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Develop detailed plans, goals, and objectives for program implementation.
• Design and implement criteria for evaluating current and proposed processes and administrative programs.
• Lead special studies and analytical projects to inform policy and procedural changes.
• Prepare clear, concise briefing packages and actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
• Participate in group studies to facilitate and coordinate office projects and policy development.
• *Required Qualifications:**
• **Experience:** One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level, demonstrating expertise in program analysis, planning, and evaluation.
• **Federal Employees:** Must have served 52 weeks at the GS-11 grade level (or equivalent) by November 14, 2025.
• **Background Check:** Ability to successfully complete a thorough background investigation required by a federal law enforcement agency.
• **Residency:** Physically resided in the U.S. or its protectorates for at least three of the last five years (exceptions available for U.S. government service).
• **Probationary Period:** New federal employees will serve a one-year probationary period.
