Job Description

Summary

Manage federal employee medical records, ensure compliance, and determine exam eligibility using EHR systems at GS-9/11 levels.

Join a federal agency team focused on managing employee medical records and ensuring compliance with health examination policies. We are hiring for both GS-9 and GS-11 levels.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Maintain and update employee medical records within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
  • Communicate with and guide stakeholders regarding medical exam requirements, deadlines, and progress.
  • Track program compliance and assist with reporting (GS-9).
  • Analyze medical exam processes to identify and improve efficiencies (GS-11).
  • Apply policies and procedures to determine medical exam eligibility and prioritize scheduling, making independent decisions at the GS-11 level.
  • *Minimum Qualifications (Eligibility for GS-9 or GS-11):**
  • *For GS-9:**
  • One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-7 level, or
  • A Master's or equivalent graduate degree (or 2 years of progressively higher-level graduate education), LL.B., or J.D., or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • *For GS-11:**
  • One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-9 level, or
  • A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree (or 3 years of progressively higher-level graduate education), or LL.M., or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Specialized experience includes:* EHR medical record management, stakeholder communication on exam processes, compliance tracking/process analysis, and applying policy for eligibility/scheduling.
  • *Additional Requirements:**
  • Must meet DEA employment eligibility and federal Time-In-Grade requirements.
  • Official transcripts are required for education-based qualifications.
