Seeking a Senior Workforce Management Specialist to provide analytical insights, develop policies, and manage hiring for organizational effectiveness.
Join our team as a Senior Workforce Management Specialist, playing a critical role in organizational planning and personnel strategies within a federal agency. This position requires a proactive approach to workforce development and policy implementation.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide senior leadership with analytical insights for organizational planning.
- Plan and conduct special studies related to workforce strategies.
- Advise managers on developing and evaluating internal policies.
- Offer technical support for workforce data management systems and programs.
- Develop comprehensive, long-range hiring plans.
- Facilitate the effective filling of vacancies and execution of personnel actions.
- *Required Qualifications:**
- **Experience:** One year of specialized experience equivalent to a senior-level specialist role, demonstrating proficiency in the responsibilities listed above. (Relevant volunteer experience is considered).
- **Residency:** Must have physically resided in the United States or its protectorates for at least three of the last five years. (Exceptions may apply for U.S. Government service or sponsored programs).
- **Background Investigation:** Ability to successfully complete a thorough federal background investigation.
