Job Description

Summary

Provide analytical support for human capital programs, re-engineer processes, and improve workforce management for a federal agency.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is seeking a skilled Human Capital Analyst to provide critical analytical support, drive process improvements, and optimize workforce management strategies.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Provide analytical support for a variety of personnel and human capital programs.
  • Research, interpret, and evaluate data to identify issues, recommend actions, and re-engineer processes.
  • Analyze workforce management operations and propose improvements for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and coordinate strategic hiring plans.
  • *Required Qualifications:**
  • **Experience:** At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the federal GS-13 level. This experience must include:
* Providing analytical support for human capital or personnel programs. * Researching, interpreting, and evaluating to identify issues and re-engineer processes. * Analyzing and making recommendations to improve workforce management. * Developing and coordinating hiring plans.
  • **Federal Employment Requirements:**
* Ability to meet all federal qualification requirements. * Successful completion of a thorough background investigation. * Meet U.S. residency requirements (physically resided in the U.S. or its protectorates for at least three of the last five years; exceptions may apply). * Willingness to serve a one-year probationary period if new to federal service.
