Job Description
Summary
Lead asset management, strategy development, and policy analysis for a federal agency, requiring specialized GS-14 level experience.
Join our team as an Asset Management Specialist. You will play a critical role in overseeing organizational property, developing strategic asset management plans, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Oversee administratively controlled and operational assets within the organization.
- Develop and implement short-term and long-term Asset Management (AM) strategies for property accountability and auditing.
- Analyze new and proposed legislation, executive orders, and DHS directives to determine their applicability and effect.
- Prepare comprehensive comments, impact statements, and recommendations for management consideration.
- *Requirements:**
- One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the federal service.
- Experience must include property oversight, asset management strategy development, and policy analysis.
- Ability to meet all federal qualification requirements and time-in-grade (if applicable).
- Must successfully pass a thorough background investigation.
