Job Description

Summary

Lead asset management, strategy development, and policy analysis for a federal agency, requiring specialized GS-14 level experience.

Join our team as an Asset Management Specialist. You will play a critical role in overseeing organizational property, developing strategic asset management plans, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Oversee administratively controlled and operational assets within the organization.
  • Develop and implement short-term and long-term Asset Management (AM) strategies for property accountability and auditing.
  • Analyze new and proposed legislation, executive orders, and DHS directives to determine their applicability and effect.
  • Prepare comprehensive comments, impact statements, and recommendations for management consideration.
  • *Requirements:**
  • One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the federal service.
  • Experience must include property oversight, asset management strategy development, and policy analysis.
  • Ability to meet all federal qualification requirements and time-in-grade (if applicable).
  • Must successfully pass a thorough background investigation.
