Lead federal program analysis, policy development, and strategic advising, requiring specialized experience and strong analytical and communication skills.
We are seeking a highly experienced professional to lead program analysis, policy development, and strategic advising within federal program areas. This role involves critical thinking, data analysis, and effective communication to achieve organizational objectives.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Plan and conduct specialized studies to evaluate program effectiveness.
- Provide expert advice and recommendations to management on program strategies.
- Develop and implement policies to meet organizational goals.
- Forecast future program objectives and identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct in-depth program analysis and recommend solutions.
- Collect, integrate, organize, and prepare comprehensive qualitative and quantitative data reports.
- Analyze project proposals and present technical briefs, white papers, and executive summaries.
- Persuade and influence management to adopt and implement key recommendations.
- *Qualifications & Requirements:**
- **Experience:** One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level, performing duties as outlined above. This includes paid and unpaid work (e.g., volunteer experience).
- **Federal Service:** Meet all applicable Time in Grade requirements (current federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade or equivalent) by 10/10/2025.
- **Residency:** Must have physically resided in the United States or its protectorates for at least three of the last five years. Exceptions may apply for U.S. government employees/dependents, study abroad, or U.S. government support roles.
- **Background Investigation:** Ability to pass a thorough background investigation by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
- **Probationary Period:** Complete a one-year probationary period if new to federal service.
