Job Description

Summary

Lead data analysis, develop automated models and dashboards, and drive process improvements for agency-wide data initiatives.

This position requires an experienced professional to perform complex data analysis and drive data-driven initiatives within a government agency.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Perform analysis, develop automated models, and create dashboards for ongoing monitoring and informed decision-making.
  • Plan and conduct analytics projects, including preparing requirements and modifying existing processes.
  • Represent top-level management on complex agency-wide or government analytics and data policies and procedures through written and oral presentations.
  • Evaluate all data and integrate results into comprehensive recommendations and reports.
  • Lead or contribute to data-driven process improvements, identifying issues, corrective actions, and implementing solutions.
  • *Minimum Qualifications (GS-13 Grade Level):**
  • One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level. This experience must include performing duties such as those listed under Key Responsibilities.
  • *Additional Requirements:**
  • Successful completion of a thorough background investigation is required.
  • Applicants not currently employed by CBP must have physically resided in the United States or its protectorates for at least three of the last five years (exceptions may apply).
  • A one-year probationary period may be required for new federal employees or those transitioning.
