Job Description

Summary

Analyze, evaluate, and advise on federal acquisition programs (GS-12) with one year of specialized experience.

Join our team as an Acquisition Program Analyst, focusing on optimizing federal acquisition processes through analysis, evaluation, and expert guidance.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Apply analytical and evaluative methods to enhance acquisition program operations.
  • Evaluate program areas, recommending actions for objective achievement and improvements.
  • Provide expert advice on acquisition management policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Assist acquisition staff with planning, execution, oversight, and problem-solving.
  • *Qualifications & Requirements:**
  • **Experience:** One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level. This includes experience in acquisition program analysis, evaluation, policy guidance, and staff support. All qualifying experience, including volunteer work, is credited.
  • **Grade Level:** GS-12.
  • **Assessment:** Successful completion of an online assessment (USA Hire) is required.
  • **Background Investigation:** Must pass a thorough federal background investigation.
  • **Residency:** Required to have physically resided in the U.S. or its protectorates for at least three of the last five years. Exceptions may apply for government service abroad.
  • **Probationary Period:** A one-year probationary period applies to new federal employees.
  • **Resume:** Your resume must explicitly demonstrate how you meet the specialized experience requirements.
