Summary
Seeking an analyst to develop staffing standards, conduct complex organizational analyses, and improve management processes for U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is seeking a skilled professional to contribute to organizational effectiveness through advanced analytical and evaluative work.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop workload-based staffing standards and analyze extensive organizational functions.
- Conduct complex analyses, evaluations, and investigations to support programs and systems.
- Prepare and present authoritative findings and recommendations to resolve management issues.
- Consult with management to create detailed plans, goals, and criteria for complex processes.
- Serve as an analyst to assess and improve program effectiveness and management systems.
- *Qualifications:**
- **Experience:** Possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 federal grade level, directly related to the responsibilities outlined above. (Note: Your resume must explicitly detail how you meet this requirement. Paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work, is recognized).
- **Federal Employees:** Must meet Time in Grade requirements (52 weeks at the next lower grade or equivalent) by 11/03/2025.
- *Additional Requirements:**
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Successful completion of a thorough background investigation.
- Residency in the U.S. or its protectorates for at least three of the last five years is generally required for applicants not currently employed by CBP (exceptions may apply).
