Summary
Seeking a GS-12 professional to analyze, evaluate, and improve administrative operations and programs for U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
Join U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) in an analytical role focused on enhancing operational efficiency and program effectiveness.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- **Analyze & Improve Operations:** Develop and apply advanced analytical techniques to assess and enhance internal administrative operations.
- **Conduct Program Evaluations:** Lead in-depth studies, reviews, and assessments of program issues and proposals.
- **Develop Strategic Recommendations:** Formulate and implement strategies to improve program execution and evaluation processes.
- **Policy & Procedure Development:** Identify policy gaps, propose additional guidance, and establish internal operating procedures to resolve functional conflicts.
- *Required Qualifications:**
- **Experience:** Minimum one year of specialized experience at the GS-11 equivalent level, performing duties similar to those listed above. Your resume must explicitly detail how you meet this experience, including volunteer work.
- **Federal Service:** Current federal employees must meet Time-in-Grade requirements (52 weeks at the GS-11 equivalent) by 10/06/2025.
- **Background Investigation:** Ability to pass a thorough background investigation by a federal law enforcement agency (CBP), covering criminal history and drug use.
- **Residency:** Must have physically resided in the U.S. or its protectorates for at least three of the last five years. Waivers may be available for specific U.S. government-related overseas activities.
- **Probationary Period:** New federal employees will serve a one-year probationary period.
