Job Description

Summary

Seeking an experienced professional to coordinate federal facility management projects and data, requiring specialized federal experience.

This role seeks a qualified professional to manage and coordinate facility operations within a federal environment at the GS-12 level.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Recommend actions and processes to achieve organizational objectives in facility management and maintenance.
  • Plan, develop, and coordinate record-keeping for project and program information through briefings, presentations, and meetings.
  • Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of planning tools and controls to manage and track project data.
  • Plan, conduct, or participate in special studies supporting non-construction related phases of facility lifecycles.
  • *Requirements:**
  • **Experience:** One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 federal level, performing duties similar to those listed. Your resume must explicitly detail this experience.
  • **Federal Eligibility:** Meet applicable Time-in-Grade requirements (for current federal employees) and obtain OPM authorization if a current or former political appointee.
  • **Background Investigation:** Must pass a thorough background investigation required by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), a federal law enforcement agency. This includes screening for felony convictions/charges and illegal drug use.
  • **Residency:** Physically resided in the U.S. or its protectorates for at least three of the last five years. Exceptions may apply for U.S. government work, military dependents, or U.S.-sponsored study abroad programs.
  • **Probationary Period:** New federal employees will serve a one-year probationary period.
