Summary

Optimize federal administrative and acquisition programs through analysis, process improvement, and expert guidance.

Join our team as an analyst to optimize administrative and acquisition programs within a federal law enforcement agency. We seek professionals who can drive efficiency, improve processes, and provide expert guidance.

  • *Key Responsibilities May Include:**
  • Analyzing and measuring program productivity for administrative and technical functions.
  • Conducting analytical studies to improve management, productivity, and long-range planning.
  • Developing and implementing new work methods, management processes, and guidelines.
  • Evaluating acquisition program operations for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Analyzing program objectives and recommending improvements to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Providing technical expertise and support for acquisition planning, execution, and oversight.
  • Reviewing program submissions for compliance, completeness, and authorization.
  • Formulating recommendations aligned with acquisition management policies and best practices.
  • *Qualifications:**
  • **GS-12 Level:** One year of specialized experience analyzing program productivity, conducting analytical studies for improvement, developing new work methods, and evaluating acquisition operations.
  • **GS-13 Level:** One year of specialized experience conducting program objective analysis, providing technical acquisition support, analyzing system information for recommendations, reviewing submissions, and recommending actions based on acquisition policies.
  • Volunteer experience is recognized and counts towards qualification.
  • *Important Notes:**
  • Your resume must clearly detail how you meet the specialized experience requirements.
  • All applicants must successfully pass a thorough background investigation by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), a federal law enforcement agency.
  • A residency requirement applies: Applicants not currently employed by CBP must have physically resided in the U.S. or its protectorates for at least three of the last five years (exceptions may apply).
  • New federal government employees will serve a one-year probationary period.
  • Current federal employees must meet Time in Grade requirements (52 weeks at the next lower grade or equivalent) by 11/13/2025.
