Management And Program Analyst

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is seeking a highly experienced professional to manage critical external communications, develop policies, and lead teams. This role requires a strategic thinker capable of driving high-visibility projects within a federal law enforcement agency.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Provide leadership for the organization's external communications strategy, including high-visibility deliverables.
• Utilize analytical methodologies to develop, implement, and evaluate policies and regulations.
• Generate comprehensive reports with conclusions, alternatives, and recommendations for policies and projects.
• Plan, organize, and direct teams, setting objectives to accomplish mission requirements.
• *Required Qualifications:**
• **Experience:** One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level, performing duties related to external communications strategy, policy development, analytical reporting, and team leadership.
• **Time in Grade:** Current federal employees must meet Time in Grade requirements by the specified date.
• **Background Investigation:** Must pass a thorough background investigation required for a federal law enforcement agency.
• **Residency:** Must have physically resided in the U.S. or its protectorates for at least three of the last five years. Exceptions may apply for U.S. government employment abroad or study abroad programs.
• **Probationary Period:** New federal employees will serve a one-year probationary period.
