Summary
Manage complex acquisition programs, perform COR duties, and ensure compliance with agency acquisition policies and procedures.
Join our team as an Acquisition Management Specialist, playing a pivotal role in managing complex acquisition programs and ensuring compliance with agency standards. We are looking for a skilled professional with expertise in contract oversight, program analysis, and effective stakeholder communication.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Apply acquisition management policies and procedures to ensure program compliance and effective execution.
- Perform Contracting Officer Representative (COR) duties, managing moderately to highly complex supply and service contracts.
- Develop and maintain acquisition repositories and organizational process asset libraries.
- Conduct program and project management analysis to evaluate and ensure effective execution of acquisition programs.
- Communicate complex acquisition requirements and project management principles to stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
- *Qualifications:**
- Possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level, performing duties directly related to acquisition management as described above.
- Experience should clearly demonstrate proficiency in applying acquisition policies, managing contracts, and conducting program analysis.
- Must be able to successfully complete a thorough background investigation required for federal law enforcement agencies.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Residency Requirement: Must have physically resided in the United States or its protectorates for at least three of the last five years (exceptions may apply for federal service abroad).
