  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Apply analytical and evaluative methods to assess program efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and recommend improvements for substantive operating programs.
  • Prepare comprehensive project papers, staff reports, and deliver briefings to management.
  • Assist in the development and evaluation of acquisition management policies.
  • *Required Qualifications:**
  • **Experience:** Minimum one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 federal grade level. This experience must include:
* Applying analytical methods to program operations. * Formulating recommendations for operating programs. * Preparing reports and conducting briefings. * Assisting with acquisition management policy.
  • **Eligibility:**
* Ability to pass a thorough federal background investigation for a law enforcement agency (U.S. Customs and Border Protection). * Meet residency requirements (physical residence in the U.S. or protectorates for three of the last five years, with potential waivers). * New federal employees will serve a one-year probationary period. * Current federal employees must meet Time in Grade requirements.
