Job Description
Summary
Provide expert analytical support, develop management systems, and advise leadership on policy and program effectiveness.
This GS-13 position requires expertise in analytical support and information system management within a federal environment.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide analytical support and advice on policy, procedures, and methodologies.
- Develop, implement, and monitor management information systems for strategic planning and program evaluation.
- Present findings, analyses, and recommendations to senior leadership through various formats.
- Ensure accurate, concise, and timely information is available for management and policy officials.
- Prepare comments and impact statements for executive and managerial consideration.
- *Required Qualifications:**
- Minimum one year of specialized experience at the GS-12 level (or equivalent) directly related to the duties outlined. Your resume must explicitly detail how you meet this experience.
- Meet all applicable federal qualification and Time in Grade requirements.
- Qualifying volunteer experience is fully credited towards requirements.
- *Additional Requirements:**
- Successful completion of a rigorous background investigation by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), a federal law enforcement agency.
- Residency Requirement: Must have physically resided in the United States or its protectorates for at least three of the last five years (exceptions may apply).
- New federal employees must complete a one-year probationary period.
- Disclosure of current or former political appointee status is required if applicable.
