Logistics Management Specialist

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is seeking Property Management Specialists to manage and oversee critical inventory operations and supply chain logistics.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Manage and oversee personal property inventory, potentially serving as a local property officer.
• Utilize Systems, Applications, and Products (SAP) to accurately enter, review, and maintain property records.
• Compile and analyze inventory data to project short and long-term supply needs.
• Identify inventory deficiencies and resolve complex supply chain issues.
• Conduct supply research for new sources and resolve intricate actions.
• Project funding status for purchases, resolve conflicting requirements, and prioritize resources.
• *Qualifications:**
• **GS-11 Level:** One year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-09, *or* a Ph.D./equivalent doctoral degree, *or* 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education (LL.M. if related).
• **GS-12 Level:** One year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-11.
• Specialized experience must include duties such as inventory management, SAP record keeping, supply needs projection, and data analysis.
• A combination of qualifying education and experience may be considered for the GS-11 level.
• *Additional Requirements:**
• Successful completion of a thorough background investigation is required.
• Applicants not currently employed by CBP must have physically resided in the U.S. or its protectorates for at least three of the last five years (exceptions may apply).
• New federal employees serve a one-year probationary period.
• Must meet all qualification and Time in Grade requirements by October 24, 2025.
• All qualifying experience, including volunteer work, will be credited.
