## Information Technology Management Specialist (GS-10/11/12)

  • *Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled Information Technology Management Specialist to join our team. This role focuses on adapting technology solutions, conducting thorough research and analysis, and developing effective strategies within the federal IT landscape.

  • *Key Responsibilities (based on experience requirements):**
  • Adapt and implement technology solutions to address specific and unique challenges.
  • Conduct comprehensive research and analysis on various issues to formulate actionable solutions.
  • (For GS-12) Apply knowledge of computer applications and integrative technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), to complex technical problems.
  • *Qualifications:**

To qualify, applicants must meet the basic requirements for the GS-2210 Information Technology Management series and the specific experience levels outlined below:

  • **Basic Requirements (GS-2210 Series):**
* Major study in Computer Science, Information Science, Information Systems Management, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, or Engineering. * **or** Coursework demonstrating computer program/system development and knowledge equivalent to a computer major. * **or** Meet required competencies for the IT Management Series 2210 (Individual Occupational Requirement - IOR).

  • **GS-12 Level:**
* One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level, demonstrating: * Knowledge of computer applications and integrative technologies (e.g., AI). * Ability to adapt technology solutions to specific challenges. * Experience conducting research, analyzing issues, and formulating solutions.

  • **GS-11 Level:**
* One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-9 level, demonstrating: * Ability to adapt technology solutions to specific challenges. * Experience conducting research, analyzing issues, and formulating solutions. * **or** A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education. * **or** A combination of specialized experience and graduate education.

  • **GS-10 Level:**
* A Master's degree or equivalent graduate degree, or 2 years of progressively higher-level graduate education.

  • *Education Requirements:**
  • All education must be completed at a college or university in the U.S.
