Job Description

Lead cybersecurity professional to develop and implement cyber strategy, evaluate complex systems, and enhance program effectiveness.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT professional to join our team, focusing on advanced cybersecurity initiatives. This role requires a strong background in leading cyber operations and strategic development. **Key Responsibilities:** * Lead and guide teams of cyber professionals. * Develop, implement, and coordinate comprehensive cybersecurity strategies and guidelines. * Design and execute exercise planning, test planning, and evaluations for complex systems. * Apply qualitative and quantitative methods to assess and improve program effectiveness and complex management processes. **Required Qualifications:** * One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service, or comparable experience in the private sector, demonstrating the ability to perform the duties outlined. * Experience must clearly showcase the ability to lead cyber teams, develop security strategies, plan system evaluations, and improve program effectiveness. **Core IT Competencies:** * **Attention to Detail:** Meticulously review IT-related work and data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency. * **Customer Service:** Maintain strong customer relationships, assess IT needs, and develop tailored IT solutions. * **Oral Communication:** Effectively brief management and IT staff on system status and projects, translating technical information for non-technical audiences. * **Problem Solving:** Identify and implement alternative solutions for complex IT issues by gathering and applying information from diverse sources. **Note:** Qualifying experience includes paid and unpaid work, such as volunteer service.
