Summary

Strategize and enforce commercial trade regulations, utilizing data analytics to identify risks and collaborate on inter-agency initiatives.

This strategic role involves commercial trade analysis, enforcement, and policy development within a federal agency. We are seeking a highly analytical professional to contribute to our mission.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Analyze issues and develop short- and long-term commercial trade intervention strategies.
  • Utilize data analytics to identify and mitigate risks within various programs.
  • Prioritize and oversee the execution of enforcement actions.
  • Collaborate with internal and external government agencies on project completion, policy development, and civil enforcement.
  • Lead or participate in special projects and initiatives, defining milestones and goals.
  • Conduct research and provide expert recommendations impacting organizational operations.
  • *Required Qualifications:**
  • **Experience:** Minimum of one year of specialized experience (equivalent to federal GS-12 level) involving strategic analysis, data-driven risk assessment, trade enforcement, and inter-agency collaboration. *Volunteer experience is credited toward qualification.*
  • **Residency:** Must have physically resided in the U.S. or its protectorates for at least three of the last five years. Exceptions may apply for U.S. government employees/dependents, study abroad, or U.S. government contractors.
  • **Background Investigation:** Ability to pass a thorough background investigation, including checks for felony convictions and illegal drug use, as required by a federal law enforcement agency.
  • **Probationary Period:** New federal employees are subject to a one-year probationary period.
