  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Provide expert technical advice and guidance on complex IT issues specific to Customs and Border Protection (CBP) technologies.
  • Monitor and evaluate IT security compliance, ensuring adherence to certification and accreditation standards.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk and vulnerability assessments, including monitoring for data misuse or spillage, particularly within FISMA systems.
  • Implement and manage information systems for program data analysis, tracking, and strategic planning.
  • *Required Qualifications:**
  • **Experience:** Minimum one (1) year of specialized IT experience applying advanced IT concepts, principles, and practices (equivalent to GS-13/14 federal level).
  • **Core Competencies:** Demonstrated proficiency in:
* Attention to Detail * Customer Service * Oral Communication * Problem Solving
  • **Technical Skills:**
* Expertise in IT security certification and accreditation standards. * Experience with risk and vulnerability scanning and assessment. * Proficiency in monitoring and implementing information systems for data analysis.
  • **Citizenship:** U.S. Citizenship required.
  • **Background:** Ability to pass a thorough background investigation.
  • **Residency:** Must have physically resided in the U.S. or its protectorates for at least three of the last five years (exceptions may apply).
