Information Technology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Specialist (AI/ML Policy & Project Lead) at the GS-15 level to drive innovation and policy within our organization, with a focus on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

• *Responsibilities:**
• Develop materials to enhance understanding of AI/ML concepts and benefits across the organization.
• Lead and support AI/ML policy initiatives, offering expert consultation and substantive input on systems and proposals.
• Provide technical policy and programmatic guidance on AI/ML to senior government leaders.
• Research and recommend appropriate actions and interpretations for critical organizational issues.
• Lead technology projects to deliver unique services, platforms, or products.
• Coordinate, communicate, and integrate project efforts, ensuring overall success and alignment with key agency priorities.
• *Requirements:**
• One (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level, demonstrating:

* Experience developing AI/ML understanding and policy. * Experience leading complex technology projects.

• Proven IT-related competencies:

* **Attention to Detail:** Thoroughness and precision in IT work. * **Customer Service:** Ability to assess IT needs, provide expert technical assistance, and resolve complex IT problems. * **Oral Communication:** Effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences and deliver clear presentations. * **Problem Solving:** Identify IT-related issues, apply technical information to evaluate alternatives, and make recommendations influencing IT policies or programs.
