Job Description

Seeking Human Resources Specialists to interpret policy, provide training, and manage staffing functions within a federal government environment.
This role is for a Human Resources Specialist, available at both GS-11 and GS-12 levels. Responsibilities include interpreting HR regulations, advising on policies, and supporting various HR functions. **GS-11 Requirements:** * **Education:** Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; OR 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education; OR LL.M. (if related). * **Experience:** At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level, which includes: * Presenting technical Human Resource information (oral/written). * Interpreting, applying, and advising on hiring practices, recruitment strategies, and HR regulations. * Utilizing automated HR programs/systems. * **Combination:** A combination of qualifying education and experience is acceptable. **GS-12 Requirements:** * **Education:** No substitution of education for specialized experience at this level. * **Experience:** At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level, which includes: * Serving as an HR liaison, providing advisory guidance on OPM and/or agency-specific HR policies. * Providing training on agency-directed HR policies and procedures (e.g., Staffing, Classification, Recruitment, Affirmative Employment). * Conducting job analyses by reviewing position descriptions and technical standards to link job competencies. *Note: Credit is given for paid and unpaid experience; clearly indicate time spent on activities.*
