Summary
Manage federal HR programs, provide expert benefits advice, and lead employee relations and policy compliance initiatives.
This role is for an experienced HR professional, focusing on program development, benefits administration, and employee relations within a federal environment.
- *Time-in-Grade Requirements:**
- **GS-12:** Minimum 52 weeks at GS-11 or equivalent in Federal Service.
- **GS-13:** Minimum 52 weeks at GS-12 or equivalent in Federal Service.
- *Key Responsibilities & Experience:**
- Provide expert technical advice and representation in third-party management hearings.
- Cultivate effective relationships with employees, supervisors, and managers to address complex issues.
- Identify and reengineer business processes, particularly within benefits administration.
- Develop comprehensive program guidance and strategic plans.
- Ensure accurate retirement annuity computations and provide extensive benefits advice to employees.
- Maintain close liaison with other divisions to ensure collaborative support and staff interchange.
