Summary
Provide expert guidance, training, and processing for federal employee retirement and benefit programs, including CSRS and FERS.
Join our team as a Federal Retirement and Benefits Specialist. This role provides expert guidance, training, and support on federal employee retirement and benefit programs, including CSRS and FERS.
- *Responsibilities:**
- Deliver training on federal retirement and benefit programs.
- Provide technical and policy advisory services for employee benefits.
- Offer general counseling and process retirement/benefits services.
- Guide Human Resources staff on benefits processes and procedures.
- Counsel individuals on CSRS and FERS provisions and related issues.
- *Requirements:**
- Minimum one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in federal employee retirement and benefit programs.
- Experience must include training, advisory, counseling, and processing federal benefits.
- Successful completion of a thorough background investigation by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
- Meet U.S. residency requirements (physically resided in the U.S. or its protectorates for at least three of the last five years), with potential waivers.
- Willingness to serve a one-year probationary period, if applicable.
