Job Description
Summary
Manage federal timekeeping and compensation, providing system support and resolving pay issues with DFAS.
We are seeking a dedicated professional to manage federal time, attendance, and compensation processes, ensuring accurate pay and resolving complex employee inquiries. This role involves critical support for federal employees within a dynamic environment.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- **For GS-12:** Advise employees on automated time and attendance systems (e.g., SLDCADA) and provide comprehensive guidance on federal compensation (leave, pay, incentives, work schedules, entitlements).
- **For GS-11:** Grant and manage user access within automated time and attendance systems (e.g., SLDCADA).
- **For All Levels:** Actively resolve pay discrepancies and complex compensation issues by coordinating directly with the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS).
- *Required Qualifications:**
- Minimum of one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 (for GS-12 applicants) or GS-09 (for GS-11 applicants) federal grade level.
- **For GS-12:** Demonstrated expertise in advising on automated time & attendance systems and federal compensation policies.
- **For GS-11:** Proven experience in managing access for automated time & attendance systems.
- Strong ability to effectively resolve pay issues through collaboration with DFAS.
- Familiarity with federal pay, leave, and entitlement regulations.
- Proficiency with automated time and attendance systems (e.g., SLDCADA) is highly valued.
- All forms of experience, including volunteer work, are considered.
