Manage complex federal HRM functions, applying advanced principles to recruitment, benefits, and processing diverse personnel actions.
This position seeks a skilled Human Resources Specialist to manage complex HRM functions within a federal environment.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Apply advanced Human Resources Management (HRM) principles, regulations, and practices across recruitment strategies, placement, benefits, job analysis, workforce planning, and position evaluation (Title 5 & DCIPS).
- Review, code, and process a wide range of complex personnel actions (e.g., promotions, transfers, new hires, pay adjustments) for a large customer base.
- Utilize HR systems like Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS) or similar, ensuring compliance with OPM guidance and federal laws.
- *Qualifications:**
- **GS-12 Level:** One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level, demonstrating expertise in the responsibilities listed above. This experience can be gained in either the federal or private sector.
- Experience includes both paid and qualifying unpaid (volunteer) work.
- All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of the announcement.
