Job Description

Summary

Seeking a GS-14 professional to audit compliance, assess procedures, and resolve complex policy issues within delegated examining activities.

We are seeking a highly qualified professional to join our team at the GS-14 level. This role focuses on ensuring compliance and resolving complex policy issues within our delegated examining activities.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Conduct annual internal audits of delegated examining (DE) activities to ensure compliance with merit system principles and federal regulations.
  • Interview staff to assess their understanding and adherence to delegated examining procedures.
  • Resolve ongoing and complex problems, addressing conflicting provisions of policies or regulations.
  • *Required Qualifications:**
  • One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service (or comparable private sector experience). This experience must demonstrate the ability to perform the core responsibilities listed above.
  • Meet time-in-grade requirements for the GS-14 level, typically 52 weeks at GS-13 or higher for status applicants.
