Summary

Seeking an HR Specialist to manage human resource operations, from administrative support to strategic program development (GS-09 to GS-13).

Join our team as a Human Resources Specialist, with opportunities across multiple federal grade levels (GS-09 to GS-13). This role offers a clear career path, evolving from essential HR administrative support to strategic program leadership.

  • *Key Responsibilities (Varies by Grade Level):**
  • **GS-09 Level:**
* Provide administrative support to HR staff, including processing personnel actions, managing records, and preparing reports. * Utilize HR systems for accurate and timely employee data processing. * Support the coordination of HR meetings and events.
  • **GS-11 Level (adds to above):**
* Offer advisory services for multiple staffing programs and create recruitment documents. * Provide technical expertise and leadership to administrative officers. * Develop and justify recommendations based on policy and regulations.
  • **GS-12 Level (adds to above):**
* Deliver comprehensive management advisory services in staffing, position management, and pay. * Research, develop, and present solutions for complex HR issues to senior management. * Analyze the impact of new HR initiatives and emerging issues.
  • **GS-13 Level (adds to above):**
* Participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of DoD HR programs, coordinating with external entities. * Conduct annual HR Capital Management Evaluation Self-Assessments and facilitate Delegated Examining Authority audits. * Analyze new laws and regulations to determine their impact and recommend policy changes.

  • *Requirements:**
  • **Time-in-Grade (Federal Applicants):** 52 weeks at the next lower GS grade (e.g., GS-07 for GS-09, GS-12 for GS-13).
  • **Specialized Experience:** One year of experience equivalent to the next lower GS grade level. This experience should align with the increasing responsibilities outlined for each grade.
  • **Competencies:** Demonstrated proficiency in Communication, Data Interpretation, and Personnel and Human Resources.
  • Relevant background, recent experience, education, and training are crucial for qualification.
