Lead AWS NAMER Marketing Operations, managing a team to drive execution excellence, optimize processes, and deliver data-driven results.
The Head of NAMER Marketing Operations is a vital leadership role responsible for driving execution excellence, optimizing processes, and delivering measurable marketing results for AWS NAMER Marketing. This position manages a team of marketing operations professionals and acts as a Chief of Staff to the Director of NAMER Marketing, leveraging data to influence strategic decisions and improve team productivity. **Key Responsibilities:** * Lead goal setting, budget/headcount management, and KPI tracking for NAMER Marketing. * Ensure strong interlock and alignment between marketing and sales teams. * Develop data-backed narratives and provide actionable solutions. * Build and maintain reports and dashboards using Salesforce.com, Tableau, and QuickSight. * Utilize statistical analysis to predict trends, identify issues, and forecast goal attainment. * Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis as requested by management. * Own the team's communications hub and central communications plan. * Manage and report on the team's annual budget and operational spend. * Develop and manage training programs for tool adoption and operational processes. **Operational Disciplines Managed:** * Analytics & Reporting * Lead Management * Financial Management * Business Management * Marketing Technology * People Engagement and Optimization **Location:** This role is based in the US only, in Austin, TX; Chicago, IL; New York, NY; or Seattle, WA. Relocation offered from within the USA. **Basic Qualifications:** * 9+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience. * Proven experience using data and metrics to drive improvements. * Proficiency with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts, pivot tables). * Experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional marketing programs. * Demonstrated ability to drive direction and alignment with cross-functional teams. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience working cross-functionally and driving decision-making among stakeholders with competing goals. * Familiarity with various research methodologies (quant, qual, 1P & 3P data, trend analysis & forecasting). * Experience communicating complex results effectively to senior leadership. **Compensation:** * The base pay for this position ranges from $127,600/year to $223,400/year, varying by market location and experience. Total compensation may include equity, sign-on payments, and comprehensive benefits.
