Head of Event Content, AWS Global Events

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced Head of Global Event Content to lead and manage content strategy, development, and delivery for its large-scale global events like re:Invent and AWS Summits. This senior leadership role combines strategic vision with hands-on team management to ensure a compelling attendee journey and brand alignment across all event content. **Key Responsibilities:** * Lead and manage a global team of content event managers and operational specialists. * Design and implement comprehensive content strategies tailored for diverse audiences and business objectives across the AWS event portfolio. * Serve as the content lead for AWS re:Invent, overseeing strategic and operational execution across 45 workstreams. * Standardize and optimize content operational processes and tools for global scalability. * Manage vendor relationships, including selection, security reviews, and budgets exceeding $2MM. * Oversee content readiness workflows, including speaker certification, technical checks, and session risk assessments. * Collaborate with senior business and technical leaders to align content strategy with key messaging and product roadmaps. **Basic Qualifications:** * 10+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience. * Demonstrated experience managing high-performing teams. * Proven ability to use data and metrics to drive improvements. * Proficiency with Excel or Tableau for data analysis. * Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams. * Strong communication skills with experience presenting results to senior leadership. * Experience in leadership roles overseeing data analysis, process improvements, and cross-functional collaboration. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience leading and managing content strategies across multiple international locales.
