General Engineer

This position requires an experienced engineer to apply professional judgment to complex construction and facilities engineering issues, with a focus on military projects.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Provide expert engineering judgment on emerging construction and facilities engineering challenges.
• Assess and interpret agency policies, regulations, and standards.
• Apply engineering expertise to problems involving military construction proposals.
• *Qualifications:**
• Minimum of one year of specialized experience at the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service, or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
• Specialized experience must demonstrate proficiency in providing professional engineering judgment on construction and facilities engineering issues, and assessing agency policies related to military construction proposals.
• Both paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work, will be considered.
